Are you looking to build real-world skills in tree care and environmental stewardship?
This free, hands-on stewardship workshop at FCF’s Aviation Parkway planting site will walk you through the key actions used to support newly planted trees in your community. You’ll learn practical techniques like proper watering and soil moisture assessment, removing competing vegetation, and identifying the signs of stress, pests, and damage. We’ll also cover how to report issues and contribute to FCF’s ongoing monitoring efforts.
No tools or prior experience required – just come ready to learn!
We will be meeting at FCF’s Aviation Parkway Planting Site, on Aviation Pathway by Rainsford Ave & Clark Ave.
Free street parking can be found along Rainsford Avenue, or on other nearby side streets off of Aviation Parkway.
