We rely heavily on the support of our amazing volunteers to help us plant trees with a plan in the National Capital Region. Without them we would not be able to meet our ambitious goals! Volunteer support and community stewardship are key aspects of our plan to ensure our new forests grow to maturity! We are thrilled that 265 volunteers have come out for a combined 1,013 volunteer hours this season. Our heartfelt THANK YOU to all of our volunteers!! 2022 has been a busy year for Forêt Capitale Forest and with the help of these enthusiastic volunteers, we were able to undertake many afforestation projects and plant and care for more than 2,800 native trees and shrubs this season! We look forward to what can be accomplished in 2023 with the continued help of our volunteers!
