About:
This forest resides on the traditional and un-ceded territory of the Anishinaabe Algonquin. This forest was planted in spring and fall 2025 at the former Capital Golf course owned by the National Capital Commission. The forest was planted with a variety of native broadleaf and conifer species that make up the Great Lakes – St. Lawrence forest type.
