Join celebrated Indigenous storyteller Louise Profeit-Leblanc for a morning of tales woven with wisdom, culture, and nature. Set in the Birch Path Healing Forest at 2391 Pepin Court, this enchanting event is part of the Storytelling in Nature series—presented by Forêt Capitale Forest and the Birch Path Healing Forest Committee, in collaboration with Bird Friendly Ottawa. Open to all ages. This is an invitation to slow down, listen, and reconnect with the land through story.
This storytelling series is formatted to celebrate the art of the oral storytelling tradition that all cultures of the world have historically practiced and to participate actively in Nature. After Louise’s story, attendees are invited to join in a hands-on tree care exercise.
While this is a free event, attendees are welcome to donate a small amount to support future storytelling events.
