Essential tree care of the trees you planted at Aviation Parkway is needed! We will be hosting a tree care event at Aviation Parkway on Wednesday, November 6th from 9am-11am.
The tree care activities will consist of placing tree guards on all trees at the site! Placing trees guards on trees is an essential stewardship task to prevent small mammals from chewing the bark of trees throughout winter.
Meeting Location: Aviation Parkway Planting Site
Parking: Free street parking along Rainsford Avenue.
Please make sure to:
- Wear clothes that you find easy to move in and closed-toed shoes
- Bring drinking water, as there is no drinking water source on site.
- Dress according to the weather.
