This event is open to the public.
Essential tree care at our Westboro Beach Site is needed! We will be hosting a tree care event at our Westboro Beach site on Tuesday, July 15th from 10am-12pm.
Tree care activities will consist of weeding, watering, and mulching while learning about proper tree care techniques! Learn more about urban forest stewardship!
FCF will bring any supplies needed for the events.
Meeting Location: Along the Capital Pathway north of the Wetsboro Beach Pavillion.
Parking: Parking available at Westboro Beach Parking Lot #1 and Westboro Beach Parking Lot #2. Active transportation via the Capital Pathway and public transit to the site is encouraged.
Please make sure to:
- Wear clothes that you find easy to move in and closed-toed shoes.
- Bring drinking water, as there is no drinking water source on site.
- Dress according to the weather.
- Optional: Bring your favourite gardening gloves. FCF will provide gloves if you don’t have any.
