SUMMARY:Stewardship Workshop - Capital Golf
DESCRIPTION:\nAre you looking to build real-world skills in tree care and e
 nvironmental stewardship?\n\n\n\nThis free\, hands-on stewardship workshop
  at Capital Golf will walk you through the key actions used to support new
 ly planted trees in your community. You’ll learn practical techniques li
 ke proper watering and soil moisture assessment\, removing competing veget
 ation\, and identifying the signs of stress\, pests\, and damage. We’ll 
 also cover how to report issues and contribute to FCF’s ongoing monitori
 ng efforts.\n\n\n\nNo tools or prior experience required - just come ready
  to learn!\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nMeeting Location:\n\n\n\n\nWe will be meeting 
 at our Capital Golf planting site\, located next to the NCC's P16 Parking 
 Lot along Bank Street.\n\n\n\n\nParking:\n\n\n\n\nThere is free parking at
  the parking lot\n\n\n\n\nWhat to Wear:\n\n\n\n\n\nClose-toed shoes\n\n\n\
 nWeather-appropriate clothing \n\n\n\nWe recommend wearing long pants as w
 e are working in long grass\n\n\n\n\n\nWhat to Bring:\n\n\n\n\n\nDrinking 
 water\n\n\n\nSunscreen\n\n\n\nOptional: your favourite pair of gardening g
 loves. We will provide gloves if you don't have any.\n\n\n\n\nAny other re
 quired equipment will be provided.\n\n\n\nWeather PolicyEvents are held ra
 in or shine\, so we encourage participants to dress for the weather. If co
