 êt Capitale Forest’s first Fundraising Luncheon &amp\; Workshop on Sept
 ember 14th\, 2024\, from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm at the Just Food Community Fa
 rm\, located at 2391 Pepin Court (Red Barn).\n\n\n\nThis event offers a wo
 nderful opportunity to explore our on-site demonstration forests\, enjoy a
  catered lunch\, and participate in a hands-on interactive design workshop
 . Led by Shelley Lambert\, Director at Forêt Capitale Forest and Chief Fo
 od Forester at Nanabush Food Forests\, the workshop will cover a wide arra
 y of food-bearing trees\, shrubs\, perennials\, and edible mushrooms you c
 an grow at home. We’ll delve into the practical side of permaculture\, s
 howing you how to create an edible landscape that requires minimal mainten
 ance and provides food\, beauty\, and pleasure year after year. It’s als
 o a fantastic chance to network with like-minded individuals who share a p
 assion for environmental stewardship and community engagement.\n\n\n\nTo s
 upport our mission\, this fundraiser plays a crucial role in enabling us t
 o continue our afforestation efforts in the National Capital Region as wel
 l as support our goal to develop a volunteer\, citizen-based forestry prog
 ram in Ottawa. Connect with FCF’s community\, support a greener future\,
  and contribute to the growth and enrichment of Ottawa’s urban forest.\n
