SUMMARY:Hendrick Farm Planting
DESCRIPTION:\nEvent Details\n\n\n\nTo participate in this event\, please fi
nd details here. \n\n\n\nAbout the Project\n\n\n\nThis planting is part of
a collaborative project between Forêt Capitale Forest\, Eco Echo\, AFPO
(l’Agence des forêts privées de l’Outaouais) and CREDDO and supporte
d by Tree Canada\, the Government of Quebec’s PADF (Sustainable Forest M
anagement Program)\, the Municipality of La Pêche Green Fund\, and Trees
for Life.\n\n\n\nThe MRC des Collines-de-l’Outaouais is divided into six
  municipalities: La Pêche\, Pontiac\, Chelsea\, Cantley\, L’Ange-Gardie
n\, and Val-des-Monts. A significant portion of the MRC is comprised of pr
ivately-managed\, mature forest stands that are particularly vulnerable in
the face of pests\, disease\, and climate change due to low diversity and
connectivity. \n\n\n\nThis project aims to enhance forest resilience in t
he MRC by planting diverse\, native\, and adaptable species on private lan
ds across the five municipalities. Approximately 1500 trees will be plant
ed by FCF staff and landowner volunteers on 14 different sites (7 sites in
  La Pêche\, 2 sites in Pontiac\, 2 sites in Chelsea\, 2 sites in Cantley\
 , and 1 site in L'Ange Gardien). \n
