SUMMARY:Base of Operations Volunteer Tiny Forest Tree Care Event
DESCRIPTION:\nThis event is open to the public and suitable for new volunte
 ers and beginner urban forest stewards.\n\n\n\nWe are hosting a tree care 
 event at our Base of Operations on Tuesday\, September 16th from 10am–12
 pm.\n\n\n\nThis event will include a short tour of our tiny forest demonst
 ration plots\, followed by applying tree guards to the trees in those plot
 s. Tree guards help protect young trees from animal browsing during the wi
 nter\, giving them a better chance to thrive.\n\n\n\nFCF will bring any su
 pplies needed for the events.\n\n\n\nMeeting Location:&nbsp\;FCF Base of O
 perations\n\n\n\nParking: Free parking available at the Just Food Communit
 y Farm parking lot.\n\n\n\nPlease make sure to:\n\n\n\n\nOptional: Bring y
 our favourite gardening gloves. FCF will provide gloves if you don’t hav
 e any.\n\n\n\nWear clothes that you find easy to move in and closed-toed s
 hoes.\n\n\n\nWe recommend wearing long pants and a long-sleeved shirt to p
 rotect yourself from weeds or foliage that may scratch or cause irritation
 .\n\n\n\nBring drinking water\, as there is no drinking water source on si
