SUMMARY:Base of Operations Volunteer Tree Care Event
DESCRIPTION:\nThis event is open to the public and suitable for new volunte
 ers and beginner urban forest stewards.\n\n\n\nWe are hosting an event at 
 our Base of Operations on Thursday\, May 29th from 10am-12pm. We’ll be
  removing invasive species from our tiny forest demonstration plots to red
 uce competition for space\, light\, and nutrients. This task involves ligh
 t weeding and some bending or kneeling\, but no heavy lifting. It’s a re
 warding way to support tiny forest health and see up-close how our forests
  are growing and thriving!\n\n\n\nTree care activities will consist of&nbs
 p\;weeding\, watering\, and mulching while learning about proper tree care
  techniques!&nbsp\;Learn more about urban forest stewardship!\n\n\n\nFCF w
 ill bring any supplies needed for the events.\n\n\n\nMeeting Location:&nbs
 p\;FCF Base of Operations\n\n\n\nParking: Free parking available at the Ju
 st Food Community Farm parking lot.\n\n\n\nPlease make sure to:\n\n\n\n\nW
 ear clothes that you find easy to move in and closed-toed shoes.\n\n\n\nBr
 ing drinking water\, as there is no drinking water source on site.\n\n\n\n
 Dress according to the weather.\n\n\n\nOptional: Your favourite gardening 
 gloves. FCF will provide gloves if you don't have any. \n\n\n\n\nIf you ha
