What is site maintenance?
Members of our team visit our planting sites and water young trees, remove competing vegetation, and perform a site audit, reporting on any signs of stress, disease, or pest pressure. Those reports feed into our cumulative database of sites that we have planted. We can then use this data to assess and adjust our tree care and stewardship of a site.
How long does site maintenance take?
It depends. Some sites are quite large or need more time due to certain challenges such as heavy weed pressure. Typically a site visit with 2 to 3 people helping can take a couple hours.

During the week of July 27 – 31st, our team visits some of our Ottawa & Gatineau plantings:
- Mer Bleue
- Lac Des Fées
- Island Park
- Ottawa Rotary Home
